A Message to My Valued Patrons and Colleagues

Up to this point, the antique stringed instrument market has been dependent on Europe and America. Due to this fact, for the past quarter century, we have gone to locations around the world to participate in auctions and have been engaged in the importation of stringed instruments.

In recent years, the remarkable spread of the Internet has realized a society where large amounts of information can be instantly shared on a global scale. In this context, I earnestly wondered whether it would be possible to open an Internet auction site that was centered in Japan and specialized in stringed instruments-the first of its kind. Thus, I partnered with trusted dealers and restorers from many nations, as well as photographers, web system development teams, and legal firms to establish Sunrise Auction Inc., as a Japan's first stringed instrument auction company.

In preparation for the opening of the first auction since Sunrise's inception, we have received considerable guidance and cooperation from specialist merchants worldwide who have endorsed Sunrise's foundation. We have also received requests from collectors and performers, contributing to a diverse array of display items that exceeds 200 lots, including old Italian pieces. At this time, we would like to announce the opening of previews in London and Tokyo, along with our first auction.
